This legal notice governs access to, browsing and use of the website www.numapet.com, owned by NUMAPET, S.L.
NumaPet is a digital informational and contact platform related to the animal world, animal welfare, adoption, shelters and rescue organisations, veterinary clinics, veterinary professionals and centres, training, trainers, universities, academies, event organisers, animal sector companies, educational content and other services or entities linked to the animal sector.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, NumaPet does not directly provide veterinary, clinical, adoption, custody, training, event organisation or other professional services published by third parties. The provision of such services is solely the responsibility of the entities, professionals, organisers or users offering them.
Accessing, browsing and using the website assigns user status and implies acceptance of this legal notice, without prejudice to specific conditions that may apply to registered users, professional entities, shelters, clinics, trainers, event organisers, advertisers or collaborators.

Purpose of the website
The website aims to provide information, directories, listings, educational content, contact tools and visibility spaces related to the animal world.
NumaPet may publish basic listings compiled from public sources, as well as expanded, claimed or validated listings by their owners or authorised representatives. Unclaimed listings are purely informational and may be corrected, expanded or removed through NumaPet's established procedures.
Information published on NumaPet does not replace veterinary, legal, administrative, health, training or professional advice as applicable. In veterinary emergencies or situations affecting animal welfare, users must contact professionals or competent authorities directly.

Basic listings, claimed listings and featured services
NumaPet may display different listing states, such as unclaimed informational listing, entity-claimed listing, validated listing, verified listing, featured listing or sponsored listing.
Unclaimed informational listings may be compiled from factual and public data, such as the entity or event name, professional location, official website, published corporate contact, category, general activity, dates or a summary written by NumaPet. These listings do not imply recommendation, certification, sponsorship, collaboration or commercial relationship with the mentioned entity.
When an entity claims or validates its listing, it may contribute expanded information, images, logos, texts, posters, links, professional data, available animals, courses, events or other content, always at its own responsibility and upon acceptance of applicable conditions and licences.
NumaPet currently offers free or beta functionalities. Paid profiles, featured services, sponsored spaces, advertising, metrics, greater visibility, preferential positioning or additional functionalities may exist in the future. These services will be governed by specific commercial conditions and clearly identified when they constitute advertising, sponsorship or a featured listing.

General terms of use
Users undertake to use the website diligently, lawfully and in good faith, in accordance with this legal notice and applicable law.
- Not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent purposes or purposes that harm third-party rights or animal welfare.
- Not introduce, transmit or disseminate false, misleading, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Not damage, disable, overload or deteriorate NumaPet's systems, content or services.
- Not carry out mass extraction, unauthorised reuse, scraping, systematic copying or exploitation of NumaPet's listings, databases, content, design, structure or own elements without prior written authorisation.
NumaPet may suspend, remove, block or restrict access to content, listings or accounts when it detects indications of misuse, false information, infringement of third-party rights, breach of its applicable conditions or non-compliance with applicable law.

Intellectual and industrial property
NumaPet® and the NumaPet logo are registered trademarks owned by NUMAPET, S.L. Unauthorised use, reproduction, imitation, distribution, public communication, transformation or exploitation of the name, logo, visual identity, design, structure, own content, databases, software and other protected platform elements is prohibited.
NumaPet's own content, including texts, designs, databases, content classification, listing structure, own images, graphic elements, source code and other materials, is protected by intellectual and industrial property regulations.
Third-party trade marks, trade names and content
Company names, trade names, trade marks, logos and other distinctive signs of third parties that may appear on NumaPet belong to their respective owners.
Their appearance on the platform serves an exclusively identifying, descriptive and informational purpose and does not imply sponsorship, recommendation, endorsement, authorisation, collaboration or a commercial relationship between NumaPet and the corresponding entity, unless expressly stated otherwise.
NumaPet will endeavour to limit the use of third-party distinctive signs and content to what is necessary to correctly identify the entity, service, activity or content mentioned, and in accordance with applicable intellectual and industrial property regulations.
Protected logos, photographs, posters and other graphic materials will be published where sufficient authorisation, licence or legal basis exists for their use.
Owners or their authorised representatives may request the correction, update, replacement or removal of a trade mark, logo, image, listing or content through the mechanisms available on the platform or by writing to info@numapet.com.

Images, animals, centres and third-party materials
Images of animals, facilities, centres, posters, events, training sessions, logos or graphic materials submitted by entities or users must only be uploaded when the submitting person or entity holds the necessary rights, permissions and authorisations.
When images include identifiable persons, minors, employees, volunteers, adopters, clients, students, attendees or third parties, the entity or user submitting them is responsible for holding the necessary authorisations for digital publication and, where applicable, promotional use.
NumaPet may remove or block images or materials when there are reasonable doubts about usage rights, privacy, image rights, minor protection, animal welfare, accuracy or legality.

The website may include links to third-party pages, platforms, forms, social networks or resources. NumaPet does not control or take responsibility for the content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy policies, cookies or conditions of those external sites.

Information published by third parties and entity listings
When a listing, event, course, advertisement, image, description, contact detail or any other content is provided by third parties, responsibility for its accuracy, legality, currency and usage rights rests with the entity, professional, organiser or user providing it.
NumaPet may review, moderate, adapt to the platform format, categorise, translate, summarise, reject, suspend or remove content when it considers it to be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, contrary to its policies or potentially harmful to third parties.
Any entity appearing on NumaPet may request correction, expansion, claiming or removal of its listing through the channels enabled by the platform.

Disclaimer of liability
NumaPet will make reasonable efforts to keep the website operational, up to date and secure, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absence of technical errors or permanent updating of all content.
NumaPet does not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness or currency of information published by third parties or compiled from public sources, without prejudice to its commitment to correct, update or remove information when appropriate.
NumaPet is not responsible for agreements, communications, decisions, adoptions, contracts, bookings, service provision, event attendance, training or relationships that may be established between users, entities, shelters, clinics, trainers, organisers or third parties based on information published on the platform.
NumaPet is not liable for damages arising from misuse of the website, information published by third parties or content hosted on external sites linked from the platform.

The processing of personal data through the website is governed by NumaPet's Privacy Policy, which shall be permanently, easily and directly accessible on the platform.

The structure, classification, organisation, compilation, selection and presentation of the listings, directories, content, categories, rankings, entity relationships and other elements comprising NumaPet's database constitute a substantial investment protected by database regulations. Extraction, reuse or systematic reproduction of all or a substantial part of that database without the express written authorisation of NUMAPET, S.L. is prohibited.

Commercial communications
NumaPet will not send electronic commercial communications without a valid legal basis, prior consent where required or applicable legal authorisation. All commercial communications will be identifiable as such and include simple, free mechanisms to opt out or unsubscribe where appropriate.
The fact that an entity appears in a basic listing or directory of NumaPet does not in itself imply acceptance of periodic commercial communications.

Correction, removal and notice channel
To correct, expand, claim or request removal of a listing, report a rights infringement, notify illegal content or raise an issue related to published content, the specific form enabled on the platform or info@numapet.com may be used.
NumaPet may request reasonable proof of representation or ownership before modifying, transferring management or removing a listing where necessary to prevent unauthorised requests.

Use of artificial intelligence and editorial control
NumaPet may use artificial intelligence systems and tools to support tasks such as classification, organisation, translation, summarisation, draft generation, image processing, information retrieval and the creation or adaptation of content.
Where NumaPet assumes editorial responsibility for a piece of content, it will endeavour to subject it to substantive human review and appropriate editorial control before publication.
Where applicable regulations require disclosure that content has been generated or manipulated using artificial intelligence, NumaPet will provide that information clearly and distinguishably.
Images, illustrations or other content generated or modified using artificial intelligence may be identified as such where legally required or where it is advisable to prevent them from being confused with documentary, photographic or real content.

Applicable law and jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law and applicable European regulations.
Disputes shall be subject to the courts with competent jurisdiction under applicable law. In relationships with users who are consumers, the legally applicable jurisdiction shall always be respected. In relationships with companies, professionals or entities acting for business or professional purposes, and unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the parties may submit to the competent courts of NUMAPET, S.L.'s registered domicile.
